Transatlantic flight to Asunción

Asunción – Villarrica Upon your arrival in Asunción, the Paraguayan capital on the banks of the Río Paraguay, a short café visit will take place and you will have the opportunity to exchange money. Lunch at a Churrascaria (meat barbecue). Continue to Villarrica and check in at the hotel. Dinner at the restaurant with a discussion of the itinerary.

Paso Pé, Estancia Kapi’i – Visit of our office in Villarrica with presentation of the group of companies and our employees. Afterwards visit of our tree nursery Paso Pé, Here you will get an insight into the cultivation and optimization of native wood species (Nativas) and highly pro-ductive eucalyptus varieties. Drive to Yataity, lunch, visit of a traditional handicraft store and our plantations at the Estancia “Bella Vista” in Yataity. Drive to Kapi’i and visit our natural forest and eucalyptus plantations as well as our organic cattle breeding on our Estancia Kapi’i. Here you can get to know our ecological and sustainable management and learn about the combination of mixed forest reforestation and species-appropriate cattle farming in a natural environment. Experience a hike in the Atlantic Rainforest. 20:00 Dinner.

Independencia – Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Independencia, a wine-growing colony founded by former Baden emigrants, the oldest and largest wine-growing area in Paraguay with a German school and German sports club, visit to the waterfall “Salto Suizo”. Lunch on-site in the evening Asado at Estancia Kapi’i and the possibility to visit a disco.

Villarrica – After breakfast possibility to visit a Catholic mass in the poorer part of Villarrica. Lunch individually in the afternoon there will be a herbal seminar where you will learn about the Paraguayan plant world. Dinner at the restaurant, overnight at the hotel.

Villarrica – Iguazu National Park Drive to Foz do Iguazu, snack on the way visit the Tropical Bird Park, then visit the Iguaçú Waterfalls, an impressive natural spectacle. They are among the largest waterfalls in the world and are located in the Iguazú National Park. Here in the Atlantic Rainforest, which once stretched along the entire east coast of Brazil to Argentina and Paraguay, is one of the highest levels of biodiversity in the world. The subtropical forests, rainforests and haze forests are home to many endangered species such as jaguars, various species of monkeys, birds and butterflies. Itaipú – Villarrica Breakfast at the hotel, after breakfast drive to Itaipú. You will start your superlative sightseeing program: Itaipú – the second largest hydroelectric power plant in the world. During a bus ride you will visit the 8 km long dam, with a view of the huge turbine hall. This joint Paraguayan-Brazilian project generates clean energy through hydropower, supplying large parts of both countries. The power plant has a total capacity of 14,000 MW. Drive to Asunción – breakfast at the hotel and final meeting at the office. After lunch, drive to Coronel Martinez to visit our plantations. Drive to Asunción. Afterwards you will take part in a city tour and explore one of the oldest cities in South America with its historic railroad station and other sights. Dinner above the rooftops of Asunción, overnight at the hotel.

Asunción – breakfast at the hotel, attendance of a lecture on the legal situation in Paraguay at the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Afterwards possibility for shopping and individual snack afternoon transfer to the airport. Return flight to Germany.
